Hubungan Rotation Per Minute (RPM) Motor Listrik Terhadap Frekuensi Gelombang
Abstract
Electric motors are applications of physics concepts that can convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. The physical concept of electric motors is not widely known, so it is necessary to study the relationship between the speed of electric motors expressed in RPM and wave frequency. The independent variable in this study is the amount of rpm of the electric motor, and the dependent variable is the wave frequency. The results of using an instrument that produces images are calculated by calculating the number of waves in one second, then the wave frequency will be obtained. In this study, the results obtained that for speeds of 60 rpm, 176 rpm, 450 rpm, 476 rpm and 625 rpm the frequency of f1 = (0.9 ± 0.1) Hz; f2 = (3.2 ± 0.1) Hz; f3 = (6.8 ± 0.1) Hz; f4 = (7.1 ± 0.2) Hz; f5 = (9.5 ± 0.2) Hz. Based on the results of the study, the relationship between the rpm of the electric motor and the wave frequency is that the greater the rpm of the electric motor, the greater the wave frequency.
