Abstract

The means of transportation using electric energy are now familiar in Indonesia, technological advances in electric motorcycles as a means of transportation always follow human needs in traveling on land transportation. Motorcycles are very popular because they have advantages, one of which is a practical model in traffic jams, besides that it also has the advantage of saving fuel consumption because it has a small engine design and maintenance is also cheap. The goal of energy technology transformation is nothing but an effort to save fuel in the midst of the increasing price of fuel oil.

The research method used in implementation plan is an experimental method for direct data collection on the design of an electric motorcycle prototype that runs on various road fields.

The research in project produces an output in some data analysis, including: Average speed of 1500 W BLDC Motor based on variations in the road test of the Electric Motorcycle prototype of 28 km/hour, The best characteristic pattern shows variations in speed of 1500 Watt BLDC Motor towards consumption Battery electric power is 34 km/hour with a power consumption of 554 Watt, The average consumption value of the battery power supply required by a 1500 Watt BLDC motor is 602 Watt, The average speed variation and the best power consumption in the motorcycle prototype road test 1500 Watt electricity is on a straight and paved road field.
