ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECT OF HIGH TEMPERATURE ON THE COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF CONCRETE
Abstract
This study was conducted with concrete specimens in the form of 15cm x 15cm x 15cm cubes as many as 20 samples. The curing was done at 110°C with a curing time of 7 days. The implementation of this research is divided into 2 stages, the first stage is the process of making test objects and the second stage is the process of testing test objects. Everything was carried out at the STTR Cepu Civil Engineering Laboratory. The compressive strength of concrete with curing obtained an average compressive strength of 12.24 Mpa, the compressive strength value does not meet the required concrete compressive strength of 14.5 Mpa. While the compressive strength of concrete without curing meets the required concrete compressive strength, namely with an average compressive strength value of 15.83 Mpa. From the results of the concrete compressive strength test, it shows that the composition of the mixture 1: 2 : 3 by volume ratio obtained concrete compressive strength that reaches K.175 concrete. The value of concrete compressive strength obtained by curing at 110°C at the age of 7 days shows the highest compressive strength of 13 Mpa. The compressive strength of concrete is lower than the compressive strength of concrete without curing with the highest compressive strength of 16.45 Mpa. The compressive strength of concrete with curing at the age of 7 days does not meet the required concrete compressive strength of 14.5 Mpa.
