Abstract

For people with visual impairments, in this modern era, the disorder does not become an obsta-cle for them to learn to achieve their life goals and a decentlife in a better future. Artificial intelligence is often defined by the ability of robots to act like humans. Artificial intelligence is defined as a scien-tific entity. This intelligence is inserted into a tool (computer) to do work like humans, and one of them is Speech Recognition. Speech recognition is a system used to recognize commands from the human voice and then convert them into data that is understood by the computer. With this voice recognition feature, blind people can use the computer smoothly without having to hesitate to open or run applica-tions. Because with speech recognition, their voices can be understood by computers. This algorithm is designed to interpret image objects as letters, which will then be parsed and converted into text/strings. This study uses a scanner to take pictures, which are then processed at the image interpretation stage. This research is based on many studies that have been conducted using algorithms. To complete the al-gorithm, a human intelligence solution is needed based on the ability to take pictures and recognize speech through fuzzy image processing. The design of this system uses a hardware and software data-base. Based on the system design obtained, it can be seen the plan for making artificial intelligence for people with disabilities by applying the fuzzy image processing method.
