Development of a Web-Based Ordering System for Nadhira Tempeh Chips to Support MSME Digitalization in Balegondo Village

Abstract

In Balegondo Village, Magetan Regency, Keripik Tempe Nadhira is a home-based company that was founded in 2010. After the COVID-19 outbreak, the company encountered difficulties like dwindling demand and restricted market reach because of its reliance on traditional sales techniques (store-to-store). This study intends to design and implement an efficient web-based food ordering information system to enable self-service ordering for customers and assess the system's efficacy in supporting daily sales activities. The Waterfall process, which includes requirements analysis, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance, was used to construct the system. The functional viability of the system was assessed using a black-box testing methodology. A stand-alone e-commerce platform that can convert store operations from traditional record-keeping to an integrated digital system is the result of this research. Business owners may efficiently handle order queues, keep an eye on product availability, enable digital payment transactions, and print payment receipts instantly thanks to this technology. By increasing operational transaction efficiency and broadening Toko Keripik Tempe Nadhira's branding reach, the deployment of this web-based solution has proven feasible and successful.
