Penerapan Framework Laravel Dan Metode Prototype Dalam Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Akuntansi Terintegrasi Berbasis Web

Abstract

Manual financial management in small and medium-sized enterprises is prone to recording errors, difficulties in tracing transaction history, and delays in the preparation of financial reports. These limitations highlight the need for an automated and integrated digital solution. This study aims to design and develop a web-based accounting information system using the Laravel framework and the Prototype method. The system was built with features including master data management, purchase and sales transaction recording, trade payable and receivable management, and automatic general journal generation. Financial reports in the form of a general ledger, balance sheet, and income statement are generated automatically from all recorded transaction data, eliminating the need for manual bookkeeping at the accounting stage. Testing was conducted using Black Box Testing across 24 scenarios covering all system modules, and all scenarios produced output in accordance with expectations without any functional failures. The balance sheet report demonstrates equilibrium between total assets and total liabilities and equity, proving that the accounting logic implemented in the system operates correctly according to standard accounting principles. The system is therefore declared suitable for use as a web-based financial management solution for small and medium-scale trading companies.
