Pengembangan Aplikasi Jadwal Sholat Berbasis Android TV dengan Notifikasi Waktu Otomatis React Native
Abstract
Mosques, as centers of religious activities, require an information delivery system that is fast, accurate, and efficient. However, many still rely on manual methods such as notice boards or posters to display prayer schedules and announcements, which are prone to errors and delays. This study aims to design and develop a prayer schedule application for Android TV with automatic prayer time notifications using the React Native framework. The application serves as a centralized information system that can be easily managed by mosque administrators (marbot/DKM). The development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The application utilizes an external API to retrieve real-time prayer time data based on the user’s manually configured location. Data management employs Redux Toolkit and AsyncStorage, allowing key information to remain accessible even without an internet connection. Visual and audio notifications are implemented using the React Native Sound Player library. Functional testing through the black box method indicates that all main features—location settings, display customization, iqamah delay settings, and automatic notifications—work as expected. The application proves to be stable, responsive, and effective in modernizing mosque information systems, simplifying management tasks, and enhancing congregational experience
