Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) located in Kampung Batik Giriloyo have significant potential in terms of both economy and culture, as a center for the production of hand-drawn batik with classic motifs that are characteristic of Yogyakarta. However, these MSMEs face significant challenges, such as inefficient management of raw material inventory, lack of market information, and low connectivity between producers, suppliers, and consumers. These issues contribute to rising production costs, distribution difficulties, and reduced competitiveness.

In this study, the implementation of a web-based Supply Chain Management (SCM) system is proposed as a solution to address these challenges. The system is designed using the Waterfall development method, aimed at managing the flow of raw materials, production processes, and product distribution in an integrated and real-time manner. The developed features include an interactive page for customers, a dashboard for administrators, a product and raw material management module for the association, and special features tailored for artisans and customers.

It is hoped that the implementation of this web-based SCM system will enhance operational efficiency, expand market access, and strengthen the competitiveness of the Giriloyo Batik Village SMEs in the national batik industry.
